Our Story
Jayne — the hands, heart, and paint‑splattered sleeves behind Paper Foxes. Believer in creativity, community, and the quiet magic of making.
Welcome to Paper Foxes Art
Nestled in the heart of St Helens, Paper Foxes is a cosy, creative art studio founded by teacher and artist Jayne Walsh. Our studio is a warm, inclusive space where imagination, making, and gentle guidance come together. From drawing and painting to printmaking, collage, textiles, art journaling and more, we invite children, teens, and adults to slow down, explore, and create with confidence.
Paper Foxes began as a travelling studio, popping up in village halls and community spaces across the borough. Today, it has a permanent home: a cosy, welcoming space designed for creativity, community, and gentle exploration.
Whether you join a workshop, drop into a session, or browse the small studio shop, you’ll find high‑quality materials, thoughtful guidance, and a space that celebrates creativity without pressure or perfection.
Paper Foxes is a warm, creative studio in St Helens where people of all ages can slow down, make with their hands, and reconnect with their natural creativity.
